Edinburgh Castle 1964

This is pretty cool – all the old cars. I’m going to say it was 1964 because Nan and Papa were in England in 1964 and I’m assuming they went to Scotland at the same time.

The statue is the Royal Scots Greys (a cavalry regiment) Monument – commemorates the ones killed (or fallen as they say) during the Boer War.

  1. I have “Edinburgh Castle 1995” and “Edinburgh Castle 2001” around here somewhere. My pictures don’t look like professional postcards, though. Your Papa had a good eye.

    • Yes and Mum is the same. She’s very critical when looking at photos we’ve taken – things are always too high or low or to the side or something is in the background that looks crap.
